On March 19, 2011 I adopted the sweetest dog on this planet. I have been wanting a dog for a couple of years but was never at a point in my life where I could have one. I just didn't have the time. All of my life I have always grown up having a family dog. I missed having that companion and when the opportunity for me to finally be able to have a dog, I jumped on it! I have been keeping my eye out over the past few months for a small dog. I kind of imagined myself being like Ell Woods and having a dog that I could take with me everywhere. (I know that's silly :)
One of my good friends, Sarah, told me about an adopt-a-thon that will be taking place on Saturday at pet-co in West Ashley. I was super excited! Another one of my really good friends, Beverly, went with me to go look. Right when I got there I spotted him! It didn't take long before I knew I had to get him. Beverly was such a trooper because it took FOREVER to go through the whole process. I was so glad she was with me though :)
For any of you reading this and know me really well knows exactly where I got his name from. I have been in love with Adam Brody since I was in the 8th grade. My favorite tv show was The O.C. in which Adam Brody played Seth Cohen. Therefore, my sweet puppies name became Brody Cohen. So perfect for him!
He is the sweetest little thing and I just love him dearly! I have posted a picture of the day that I brought him home, and of course I had to add a picture of the person he was named after (aka: the love of my life)
Haha. Ok. I just have to say I haven't read this post, but when I scrolled down and saw the pictures it cracked me up! Ok, now I will go read the post. =)
